Caleb Wilson out with hand injury
Brutal news in the world of college hoops, as North Carolina star forward Caleb Wilson is out with a fracture in his left hand.
Sadly, there is no specific timetable to return for Wilson, who was on his way to All-ACC first team honors and a potential All-American nod. He was averaging 19.8 points and 9.4 rebounds at the time of the injury.

Trinidad Chambliss is BACK
If you’re an Ole Miss fan, you’ll love this news. If you love the purity of college football, you’re probably more in the middle.
That’s because on Thursday a judge - yes, another one - granted Chambliss a preliminary injunction, making him eligible for a sixth season of college football in 2026 instead of entering the NFL draft.
The judge ruled the NCAA “acted in bad faith,” ignored its own rules and failed to properly consider Chambliss’ nearly 91 pages of medical documentation, explaining why he missed all of the 2022 season while at Ferris State. He said forcing Chambliss into the draft now would cause “irreparable harm” to his career and education.
The ruling is temporary — the lawsuit continues and the NCAA could appeal — but it immediately clears Chambliss to play in 2026 and sign revenue-sharing or other compensation deals.
Ole Miss was one game away from playing in the national championship game despite losing its head coach in the middle of the postseason. Star RB Kewan Lacy is also returning.
