Calipari vs. Kentucky Part II

While “Dybantsa vs. Peterson” is where “College Gameday” chose to go on Saturday, arguably the most intriguing game will be at Bud Walton Arena: Kentucky at Arkansas.

Ironically, both teams have the same record since hiring their respective head coaches, going 38-19. However, Arkansas is definitely riding the momentum; momentum that seemingly started last year when a Razorbacks team that was 1-6 in SEC play walked into Rupp Arena and stunned Kentucky.

This year, the script is flipped as Kentucky is unranked, while Arkansas is No. 15. Mark Pope’s squad is coming off a 25-point loss to No. 18 Vanderbilt on Tuesday.

AJ Dybantsa vs Darryn Peterson

Boy oh boy, this one’s going to be special. Two future NBA lottery picks (likely No. 1 and No. 2 overall) go head-to-head this Saturday in historic Allen Fieldhouse. Jon Rothstein confirmed Peterson will play on Saturday. And just a reminder… here’s what happened the last time these two faced off.

Also, just one year ago, the Cougars demolished the Jayhawks in a 34-point rout in Provo with Torres in attendance.
