Tuesday Night
Howard vs UMBC

Howard topped UMBC 86-83, advancing to play Michigan today (Thursday) in New York.

Texas vs NC State

Texas beat NC State 68-66 and will face BYU today (Thursday) in Portland at 7:25 p.m. ET

After the game, NC State head coach Will Wade had SEVERAL interesting quotes.

When asked about building this year’s team from the transfer portal, he said they didn’t spend enough time or do enough research and threw the team together pretty quickly.

“We’re gonna do much more due diligence this (next) year,” he said. “Our focus is gonna turn to making sure we get the right guys to come in and help us win in the future,” he continued.

Wednesday Night
Prairie View A&M vs Lehigh

Prairie View A&M beat Lehigh 67-55 and will face Florida on Friday at 9:25 p.m. ET.

Miami OH vs SMU

The RedHawks have done it again. Miami (OH) beat SMU 89-79 and will face Tennessee on Friday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Mikel Brown Jr., Louisville

Louisville star freshman Mikel Brown Jr. is out for Tournament opener yet he still practiced with the team on Wednesday.

Patrick Ngongba, Duke

Duke will be without starting center Patrick Ngongba tonight (Thursday) against No. 16 seed Siena.

Donovan Dent & Tyler Bilodeau, UCLA

Both are expected to play for the UCLA Bruins in their first round matchup with UCF on Friday.
