Colorado transfer Jordan Seaton trending toward TEXAS
On Monday, Seaton announced his entry into the NCAA transfer portal via an Instagram post that included a highlight video showcasing his skills and time at Colorado.
Here’s the kicker though: Multiple reports indicated the video was produced by Colorado’s athletic department and graphics team under the assumption Seaton planned to announce he was returning to the Buffaloes for another season — AWKWARD.
Seaton is ranked No. 4 overall in the transfer portal and No. 1 among offensive tackles, according to 247Sports.
Multiple reports indicate Texas is expected to host Seaton for a visit soon.
The Longhorns are viewed as leading contenders alongside Oregon and have been preparing for Seaton’s portal entry, with Texas expected to make a strong NIL pitch as part of its recruitment efforts.

But wait, there’s more. ⬇️⬇️
Mississippi State appears to be a long shot, but the connection to Loadholt makes it worth monitoring.
It was also reported Thursday evening that Mississippi State offensive lineman Zack Owens is entering the transfer portal. Could his departure clear a path for Seaton to reunite with his former coach? Only time will tell.

The freshman phenom surpassed Kevin Durant’s mark for the most consecutive 20-point games by a Big 12 freshman; Durant had a streak of nine such games at Texas in 2006-07.
