Sam Leavitt is currently at LSU - is a commitment coming?!
Sam Leavitt is arguably the most coveted transfer portal quarterback in the portal, listed as the No. 1 ranked signal-caller per 247 Sports.
And we may be starting to get clarification on where he lands.
While Leavitt initially visited Kentucky to open the portal window, he is now on what On3's Shea Dixon is labeling a "multi-day visit" to LSU.
At the time of this posting, Leavitt's future is uncertain, but the tea leaves are starting to come together.
Leavitt was initially supposed to visit Texas Tech, before they received a commitment from Cincinnati signal-caller Brendan Sorsby late Sunday.
And with Kentucky landing Notre Dame transfer Kenny Minchey it feels like it's a matter of if, not when Leavitt becomes a Tiger.

Ty Simpson is heading WHERE?!
Over the weekend, we got another interesting piece of news - as an internet rumor began to surface that Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson… could be headed to the portal?
It sounded crazy, but with former five-star Keelon Russell waiting in the wings at Alabama there might not be a spot for Simpson next season.
Well, that rumor picked up steam on Monday, as venerable On3 reporter (and Tennessee alum) Chris Low said he believes that if Simpson transfers, it will be to Tennessee.
Here is the money quote from Low, who discussed the move on the RTI Down Low podcast:
I think without question, Tennessee is calling the portal for a quarterback. The one that’s most intriguing, and Bama fans and Tennessee fans are going to sit up straight when I say this, is Ty Simpson. I do not believe Ty Simpson will be back at Alabama next year, I think he’s gone. I think it’s either he’s going to the pros and entering the draft, or I think he’s going to go into the portal.
