Lane Kiffin to… LSU!

The Ole Miss Rebels won the Egg Bowl in convincing fashion, 38-19 over Mississippi State on Friday morning. By Sunday, it was announced that Lane Kiffin would be taking the head coaching job at LSU. Kiffin posted the following on his personal X/Twitter account.

Coach Kiffin has already met with the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2026 class, as Lamar Brown — a 6-foot-4, 285-pound prospect — waited at the LSU football building for him to arrive from the airport. Kiffin landed at 4:55 p.m. Sunday and went straight to meet with Brown, who later posted about the visit on X. After meeting with Brown, Kiffin spent much of the night calling LSU commitments and recruits. Brown plans to sign with Kiffin and the Tigers at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday. The early signing period runs through Friday.

Kentucky fires Mark Stoops, hires Kentucky native Will Stein

Stein agreed to a five-year deal with the Wildcats, sources told Pete Thamel of ESPN. Both of Stein’s parents attended Kentucky and he grew up going to Wildcats games.
